The waterproof integrity of the SGC couplers is only warranted under the following conditions:

1. The coupler must be installed out of exposure from direct sun or rain, as explained in our manuals.
2. The coupler must be installed as sealed from SGC's manufacturing facility.
3. If the coupler is opened, it must be re-sealed under low humidity atmosphere (below 35%) and all sealing elements must be carefully inspected before re-installation.
