Al Lee, WA4EWV, installed an SG-235 on his 44 foot Atlantic Motor Yacht. He tells us that, "During the overhaul period I purchased the SGC tuner, and installed it on the port side of the boat, under the bridge. The coax from the transceiver runs up from the salon, and the wire from the SGC runs through the side wall of the bridge to a 33 foot vertical antenna. The ground strap is one inch copper that runs all the way down to the engine room, and is connected to the bonding system of the boat.  I also have provisions to hook the tuner to a long wire which will be flown from a kite. (I have not tested that yet)." Al has has been so satisfied with his installation, that he now wants to be able to move the Smartuner™ from his boat to his travel trailer and back to get even more use out of it.
