Operating from unusual places is a normal thing for many professionals and some amateurs. Many of us enjoy the challenge of reaching an interesting location and then going on the air. Rolf von Allmen, HB9DGV, sent us these pictures of his operation from a trip into the Alps.

Rolf tells us that "Since about one and a half year I'm using the SGC 2020 ADSP transceiver. I'm using it also for outdoor activities. The last weekend I was on a mountain in the southern part of Switzerland and worked with QRP on the 20m band. On the two pictures you see the working conditions on the micro DX-Pedition. I'm very satisfied with the results."
